Richard Mark Clement - Partner
Introduction
Mr. Richard Mark Clement is a partner at our law firm, bringing over 35 years of extensive experience in handling contentious matters across various jurisdictions, having practiced in the City of London, Hong Kong, and the Cayman Islands.
Mr. Clement was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in February 1986, in Hong Kong in January 1987. Mr. Clement has also previously practiced as an Attorney at Law in the Cayman Islands. In 1999, he became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
Mr. Clement previously served as a member of the HKSAR Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel and as a member of the HKSAR Buildings Appeal Tribunal Panel.
Mr. Clement specializes in litigation and dispute resolution, in both civil and criminal matters. He has a wide experience in handling commercial and banking disputes, insurance, personal injury, employees’ compensation, industrial accidents, white collar and general criminal matters, as well as torture claims and human rights litigation. He has over the years acted for and against many multinational insurers, banks and construction contractors in litigation, mediation and Arbitration in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Recently, Mr. Clement has taken a leading role in our firm’s liaison with other professionals in legal and related fields from the Greater Bay Area and was a speaker in both the “Participating in the 30 Years of Upholding the Law for Family Prosperity” Greater Bay Area Marriage, Family and Wealth Succession Exchange in Zhuhai and the Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Macau Training Camp in Hong Kong for Lawyers.
